Symil LeDoux Named Director of Community Engagement at Baton Rouge General

Baton Rouge, La. – Baton Rouge General announced today the appointment of Symil LeDoux as Director of Community Engagement. In this new role, LeDoux will help build relationships with community leaders and develop key donor and consumer engagement strategies.

LeDoux formerly served as Manager of Volunteer Services at Baton Rouge General, increasing volunteerism by 20 percent and launching an employee volunteer program that contributed more than 2,000 hours of service to the hospital. Earlier, she served as Executive Director of the American Cancer Society, leading fundraising efforts for one of one of the largest markets in the region.

“Symil brings a depth of experience to this position,” said Baton Rouge General Foundation President Beth Veazey. “I’m confident that she will promote a culture of open dialogue and cooperation that allows us to connect more closely with the people we serve.”
