Baton Rouge, La. – Baton Rouge General recently earned top rankings by CareChex, referred to as the most comprehensive site for rating hospital care, with designation as:
- #1 in the Region and Top 100 Hospital in the Nation for Overall Medical Care
- #1 in the State and Top 100 Hospital in the Nation for Heart Failure Treatment
- #1 in the Region for Heart Attack Treatment
CareChex provides a composite evaluation of all components of medical quality including process of care, outcomes of care and patient experiences. “Region” is defined as Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana parishes.
