The Gift of Your Time is a Gift to Us!

Volunteer at Baton Rouge General's Gift Tree

Baton Rouge, La. – Make the holidays truly special and join Baton Rouge General's outstanding team of volunteers! Our greatest need is in our popular Gift Tree gift shops, located on our Bluebonnet and Mid City campuses. Gift Tree volunteers handle cashier duties, wrap gifts, stock displays, and help customers find that special gift for a variety of occasions. It’s a great place to volunteer because every single dollar made at the Gift Tree is reinvested into the hospital to help fund a variety of services and programs.

In other words, the gift of your time is a gift to us, our patients and our community!

Come and visit us. Holiday shopping just got easier thanks to the newly renovated and expanded Gift Tree on our Bluebonnet campus. Avoid the crowds, the traffic and the stress ... and check a few items off your gift list at our special Holiday Open House on Wednesday, December 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. Shoppers will receive 15% off their purchase, a free shopping tote, and complimentary hors d'oeuvres and punch while they browse the Gift Tree.

“The Holiday Open House is a great opportunity for you to see if you might want to join our team,” said Symil LeDoux, Volunteer Services Manager. “We are always looking for special people who are willing to share their time and talents with us.”
