Baton Rouge General Operating Normally, All Clinics Open

BATON ROUGE, La. – Baton Rouge General and all of its clinics remain open and operating normally as Hurricane Laura makes her way out of the area. Patients should continue with any scheduled surgeries or appointments for Thursday, August 27. Telehealth visits are available for those who plan to stay off the roads.

Overnight and into the morning, all BRG facilities continued to function with business as usual, with no power outages or major issues. As with any weather event, BRG’s facilities are well-prepared with adequate supplies and hurricane generators, and its emergency management team has been closely monitoring the situation.
