Administrative Project Consultant and Liaison
What’s your day to day look like?
I manage special projects focused on Mid City business partnerships and
community relationship cultivation. As COVID-19 began to spread in Baton
Rouge, I have been focused on the community testing site at our Mid City
campus and organizing community engagement efforts.
How did you wind up in healthcare?
The healthcare industry has been an instrumental part of my life since
my early childhood and I knew that it would eventually play a role in
my career path. I was thrilled about the opportunity to return to my hometown
and join Baton Rouge General after spending a year and a half as a National
Consultant for Sigma Nu Fraternity.
One thing people may not know about you?
I spent two years lobbying on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. for special
interest political action committees.
What do you love most about BRG?
I have fond memories of roaming the hallways of Baton Rouge General Mid
City as a child as my mom worked for medical staff services at this very
location. I love the family feel between the staff and the smiling faces.
We are a more efficient and impactful work force when we have strong bonds
with our fellow co-workers.
Where’s your favorite place to eat/visit in Mid City?
I love visiting The Electric Depot on Government Street. City Roots Coffee
Bar and Red Stick Social located inside of the Electric Depot are great
places to enjoy time with family and friends.
What’s one word you’d use to describe this community and why?
Powerful. This community is dedicated to uniting under the values of supporting
our neighbors and helping as many people find success as possible. From
business leaders to home owners, everyone wants to see the further advancement
of opportunities available for citizens in Baton Rouge.
