Arts in Medicine
Baton Rouge General's Arts in Medicine program brings creative activities to patients and family members through mediums such as painting, drawing, arts and crafts, music and more. Patients benefit from the therapeutic properties of creating and enjoying instruction from local artists-in-residence.
Through one-on-one sessions, and collaborative projects, the
program facilitates bringing the arts to our patients. Patients are
offered the opportunity to explore their own creativity while meeting
the challenges of diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.
