An estimated one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime, making skin cancer the most common type of cancer in the United States. Melanoma will account for more than 87,000 cases in 2017.
Learn more about your risk by taking advantage of Baton Rouge General’s free skin cancer screening, where a dermatologist will privately check your skin and give recommendations for any areas of concern. Screenings take approximately 15-20 minutes, including completing your paperwork.
