About This Event

  • Event Type:Screening
Details:

Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) affects one in every 20 Americans over the age of 50, putting them at greater risk of having a heart attack or stroke. PAD develops when arteries become clogged with plaque, but it doesn’t always come with symptoms, so many people who have it don’t even know it. Major risk factors for PAD include older age, diabetes mellitus, current smoking, high blood pressure, high cholesterol level, obesity, and physical inactivity.

Join the physicians from the Vascular Specialty Center for a free screening to see if you are at risk for PAD.
