Surgery Fast Pass

If you are scheduled for a surgery or procedure, Baton Rouge General offers a fast track registration process that enables you to save time and creates a touchless experience while on campus. To receive a fast pass please follow these steps:

Step 1: Pre-Register

Preregister online prior to your surgery by completing the preadmission form.

Step 2: Upload

Upload a scanned copy or photo of your current driver’s license and insurance card.

Below are downloadable documents needed to complete registration. Please upload scanned and signed copies using the form. If you are unable to fill out the forms, call (225) 763-4777 and someone will assist you.

Step 3: Pay

If you have any copays or deductibles, a patient account liaison (PAL) will contact you for payment prior to your surgery. If a voice message is left, please return the call at (225) 819-1047.

Fast Pass Arrival

All scheduled surgery patients must enter through our Bluebonnet Main Entrance. Upon arrival, follow the Safe Surgery Path where an admissions concierge will meet you and check you in. The Safe Surgery Path is a touchless route from the door to your surgery.

Visitation

You are allowed one visitor over the age of 18. Visitors must wait in the Same Day Surgery waiting area once you are taken back to surgery. Seating in the waiting area has been reconfigured to allow for social distancing. Following surgery, they will be able to meet with the surgeon to discuss the surgery.
