The Farm in Memory of Charlotte Murrell
Dear Family and Friends:
Thank you so much for your consideration to support the creation of The Farm in memory of Charlotte. Some of my favorite memories with Charlotte are in our own backyard. She loved all of our animals and enjoyed spending time in the yard and in the garden. This is how the name “The Farm” came about.
To our family, it represents several things that were important in her life. Charlotte, who was beautiful inside and out, also had a huge heart and loved to help others in need. With the creation of The Farm at Pennington Cancer Center, we can bring the serenity of the outdoors into this space within the cancer center where she can touch the lives of visitors, patients, and their families every day.
In this small way Charlotte will always be able to bring beauty, comfort and hopefully a little joy to those receiving treatment. To me, the garden is the perfect representation of my wife who touched the lives of so many. She loved to care for others, and made the world a more beautiful place.
My children and I hope that you will consider supporting the effort. Each gift will be recognized appropriately in the garden, making the Farm a place filled with names of those who loved her.
Once complete, I look forward to having you join me for the dedication. With all of us there together I know Charlotte will be smiling down on us.
Thank you so much again and I look forward to speaking with you very soon.
Sincerely,
George A. Murrell
