2nd Degree Hybrid BSN Program

William Carey University at Baton Rouge General’s 2nd Degree Hybrid Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program allows students with a bachelor’s degree to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing that will prepare them to become registered nurses with enhanced critical thinking and assessment training—all in a convenient hybrid learning format.

2nd Degree Scholarships

Prospective nursing students with a prior bachelor’s degree in any field and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher may apply for William Carey Health Science’s 2nd Degree Nursing Scholarship Program.

William Carey University operates on a trimester system with fall, winter, spring, and summer trimesters consisting of ten weeks. Admission is competitive and acceptance to the university does not guarantee admission to the nursing program.
