COVID-19 Vaccine
Baton Rouge continues to monitor the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine and provide it to eligible groups as it’s available. COVID is now the leading cause of death in the United States, with more than 7,000 Louisianans dying from the virus in 2020 – more than the number of people who died in accidents, or from stroke and diabetes combined. The vaccine is a critical tool in ending the pandemic and we encourage everyone to get vaccinated as soon as they are eligible.
