Sign Up Using the MyChart App

1. Download the MyChart app
2. Pick Baton Rouge General as the organization
3. Click Sign Up underneath the log in button

Other Ways to Sign Up

If you have an activation code:

1. Go to MyChart
2. Enter your activation code, last 4 digits of Social Security number, and date of birth
3. Create a username and password
4. Confirm your email address

If you do not have an activation code:

1. Go to MyChart direct sign up
2. Create a username and password
3. Confirm your email address

Link BRG MyChart to Your Existing Account

1. Follow the steps above to activate your BRG MyChart account with or without an activation code.
2. After activating your BRG MyChart account, log in.
3. In the MyChart app, go to Menu>Link My Accounts (or from the home screen, click “add an organization.") On a desktop, go to the “Link My Accounts” activity.
4. Search for Baton Rouge General.
5. Click “Link Account.”
6. Enter your MyChart username and password to finish linking.

MyChart Central

Manage fewer logins and keep your health info in one place with MyChart Central. This free tool connects all your MyChart accounts using a single login called your Epic ID. With MyChart Central you can easily switch between accounts, see upcoming appointments, view test results, and message providers across participating health systems, including Baton Rouge General.

Sign up for MyChart Central 

1. Go to MyChart and enter your BRG MyChart username and password.
2. From the MyChart menu go to "Sharing" and select "Link My Accounts."
3. Select Get Started from the "One login for your MyChart accounts" callout.
4. Agree to the terms and conditions and select "Sign Up for MyChart Central."
5. Verify mobile phone (enter SMS code) and verify email (enter email code). Your verified email becomes your Epic ID.
6. Enter your password and confirm Baton Rouge General is listed as a linked account. 

Access MyChart Central from you MyChart App

1. Open your MyChart app and select "Edit organizations" and then "Add another organization."
2. Search for "MyChart Central."
3. Sign in with your Epic ID (email) and password.
