Nursing Program

At Baton Rouge General’s School of Nursing, we are dedicated to training highly skilled professional registered nurses and are focused on providing our students with the latest treatment techniques, technologies and patient-centered care education in a world where nurses are some of the most valued professionals.

Fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing (LSBN), BRG's School of Nursing is the only hospital-based diploma program in the state and has graduated more than 1200 nurses since 1984. Our program is consistently ranked among the nation’s top nursing schools for our graduate pass rates on the national licensing exam for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN), and our students are successfully employed immediately following graduation.
