Baton Rouge General School of Nursing
At Baton Rouge General Medical Center’s School of Nursing, we are
dedicated to training highly skilled professional registered nurses and
are focused on providing our students with the latest treatment techniques,
technologies and patient-centered care education in a world where nurses
are some of the most valuable professionals.
Fully accredited by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing (LSBN) and the
Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Baton Rouge
General’s School of Nursing has graduated more than 1,000 nurses
since 1984, many of who have completed bachelor’s and master’s
degrees and work in advanced practice roles. Our program is consistently
ranked among the nation’s top nursing schools for our graduate pass
rates on the national licensing exam for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN),
and for the past ten years, our students have successfully been placed
in the workplace immediately following graduation.
We will maintain and enhance nursing education one student at a time.
