Baton Rouge General School of Nursing
At Baton Rouge General’s School of Nursing, we are dedicated to training
highly skilled professional registered nurses and are focused on providing
our students with the latest treatment techniques, technologies and patient-centered
care education in a world where nurses are some of the most valuable professionals.
Fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing
(ACEN) and approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing (LSBN), Baton
Rouge General’s School of Nursing has graduated more than 1,000
nurses since 1984, many of who have completed bachelor’s and master’s
degrees and work in advanced practice roles. Our program is consistently
ranked among the nation’s top nursing schools for our graduate pass
rates on the national licensing exam for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN),
and for the past ten years, our students have successfully been placed
in the workplace immediately following graduation.
We will maintain and enhance nursing education one student at a time.
We expect students to serve as positive role models in the practice setting
by pursuing excellence, promoting service, demonstrating compassion and
reflecting integrity, and we provide graduates with a foundation to accept
responsibility to develop and maintain their expertise in practice and
accountability to the public.
