Nurses We Celebrate You

Happy Nurses’ Week! Baton Rouge General would like to thank all of you for your commitment to caring for others. Your dedication, compassion, & commitment to patient care made a difference in so many lives you touched each and every day. Throughout COVID nurses had to rethink their approach to patient care, focus energy on defeating the pandemic and all the challenges associated with the aftermath . Nothing was more important than ensuring the health and safety of your patients, the community and your colleagues.

People looked to health care organizations to provide exceptional and compassionate care, and you went above and beyond. For that, we Thank You! Nurses were on the front lines day in and day out, often times working around the clock and away from your families. From advocating for your patients, to holding their hands and helping them FaceTime with loved ones, you were there through it all. Now that it seems the worst is behind us, we know you will continue to care for your patients the way you always have, going above and beyond, because it is what we nurses do. Thank you again for all of your hard work and dedication to patients and our community. Nursing is a calling!
