Baton Rouge General Foundation Announces New Member, Leadership Roles

BATON ROUGE, La. - The Baton Rouge General Foundation recently announced Shane Kirkpatrick as the newest member of its Board of Governors, elected to serve a three-year term. Taking on new leadership roles are Bart Phillips, chair; Kathy Victorian, vice chair; Jim Purgerson, treasurer; and Lucie Kantrow, secretary.

Shane Kirkpatrick has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry at GROUP Contractors and has served as the company’s president for the past 13 years. A U.S. Army veteran and dynamic leader, he has served as a board member for the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Bayou Chapter, ABC Pelican Chapter, and ABC National. He will also serve as president of the Louisiana Associated General Contractors Board of Directors in 2023. Kirkpatrick has also been involved with the American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink campaign.
