Baton Rouge General Voted Best Hospital in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE, La. – The results are in for the annual Best of Baton Rouge community voting program, and Baton Rouge General was again voted Best Hospital.
The contest invites the community to nominate and vote for their favorites across a wide range of categories, highlighting the businesses and organizations that make Baton Rouge a great place to live, work, and do business. The program continued to see strong growth in its second year, with over 410,000 votes cast from more than 150,000 participants.
As the only independent, locally governed, full-service health system in the Baton Rouge area, BRG’s ranking as the top hospital in Baton Rouge speaks to its deep roots in the community. With a strong connection to the community and thoughtful, strategic growth, BRG served more than 161,000 patients over 550,000 visits in 2025 alone. The hospital has grown to meet the community’s needs with expanded clinics, emergency services, surgery and specialty care, while investing in digital tools that make healthcare easier to navigate and more connected.
Winners were determined entirely by public vote following a nomination period that identified the top businesses in each category before advancing to the final ballot. The official winners are now available online, and this year’s winners are also featured in the Best of Baton Rouge Winners Magazine, a comprehensive guide to many of the top businesses and service providers in the region.
