Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a 4-hour course that provides the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of first aid, CPR and the use of an AED. The course is designed for those with little or no medical training who may need a completion card for their job or just want to be prepared for an emergency that may arise at work, home, or in the community.

Course Objectives:

• Understand adult CPR & AED use
• Understand adult choking
• Understand First Aid
  • Universal precautions
  • Finding the problem
  • Allergic reaction - epinephrine pen use
  • Control bleeding
• Understand opioid overdose
• Optional modules:
  • Infant & child CPR
  • Infant & child choking

Validation Method: Return demonstration of skills and application of knowledge observed by a qualified instructor (written test optional if required by employer).

You must also purchase a Heartsaver Provider Manual before your class date. You can purchase the e-book or hard copy.

Please be advised that registration is required 48 hours before the start of the course. The course is subject to cancellation if the minimum number of registrations is not met. We will decide to cancel 48 hours before the scheduled course date. In this event, registered participants will be notified and appropriate arrangements will be made, including refunds or rescheduling options.
