About Me
A native of Knoxville, Tenn., Dr. Broussard earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis. He then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at LSU Health in New Orleans. Following residency, he moved to Birmingham, Ala., where he completed a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at the prestigious American Sports Medicine Institute with Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. His training has included caring for athletes at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels, as well as active adults seeking to maintain an active lifestyle. His expertise includes comprehensive nonsurgical and surgical management of shoulder, knee, hip, elbow and sports-related injuries, and he specializes in both arthroscopic and open procedures for these conditions.
