Dr. Gaspard and his team are the backbone of my healthcare in Baton Rouge. They are responsible for detecting a larger issue I had based on conversations and initial blood test that led me to specialist that diagnosed a tumor in my head. It is that total look at the whole body which so important.

Someone, always answers the phone at your office. If they need to forward me to someone else, I get connected quickly. In the rare instances, ned to leave a message i always get a call back. This has been a real problem at many other providers. Br Family medical is my provider of choice whenever possible.

The doctor ordered a shingles vaccine but for some reason the staff wanted to charge me $340 for a vaccine that is covered by my insurance. I contacted my insurance and they confirmed it is covered.

I've been a patient for over 15 years and am and have been completely pleased with their service, I would go nowhere else but to this provider...
So at the front desk, and there was no interpreter and no video remote interpreting. I am a person who is deaf. The person at the front desk was talking about something about privacy or some kind of policy, and I could not understand what was going on. And I also had to wait, I don't know, about maybe 30 minutes for my appointment, which I felt like that was not really That was not good. That was not good for me. And then also, I wish the office would provide a sign language interpreter or at least have video remote interpreting services. So that way I would know everything that was going on. And so I don't understand why that service is not provided. That would be really helpful for me. It'd also be helpful for the providers

Dr. Brad Gaspard is a kind, considerate, doctor who takes his time to review my medical history and assure that I am getting the treatments & medications that I need. At our age we need a doctor who will take the time needed to assure that we are being properly treated for our ongoing and new ailments. Our primary care doctor retired & we have not been able to find someone to adequately replace him until we tried Dr. Gaspard.

Dr.Gaspard and his team are excellent. They are always kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They put me at ease every time and it feels more like being cared for by family. I never feel like just a patient on the list. Also, I recently just had my first mammogram. I felt lost when I first walked into hospital and began looking at the directory but before I could even figure out where to go someone from EVS called me over and said she would take me to wherever I needed to go and she did, and did it with a smile on her face! The mammogram was easy, painless, and surprisingly quicker than picking up my clothes from the dry cleaner!

My family doctors have been part of this practice for decades. I have never had a less than satisfactory experience, Whenever it has been appropriate to refer me to specialists I have always been sent to top people in their field.
Received a call from Dr. Gaspard's nurse telling me that the blood results were fine but that he had not had not received the urine results yet. She said someone would get back to me today, which is Friday, but no one called me about the results. I tried to call back at about 130 to check, but the office was closed. I tried to go online and look at my chart, but I couldn't remember my username and password so I entered my information and it did not generate a password reset email. So now I don't know what my results from the urine test are.

Friendly staff
My labs were drawn the week before my appointment and the doctors office didn't have them available and they had to call the lab to get them....all done at the Bluebonnet hospital/clinic...also I can never see current test results on MYCHART and I called the MYCHART help line and the individual who answered was unhelpful and couldn't give me a resolution but said they would "look" into it and call me back....never heard anything from them again!!! So to this date the issue remains and no one can help resolve this...and no one has ever called me back....they should have a simple log book to record "unresolved issues" and continue the process until the issue is resolved....simple fix instead of never hearing from anyone else and the problem remains!

Reason for provider only knowing some of my medical history was because I had to go elsewhere while BRG was out of network for Aetna, and BR Clinic MyChart records were not visible to BRG staff (although they should be).
