Good quick service
On more than one occasion, my wife and I were forgotten in the lobby, waiting over an hour. This time myself and several others waited over an hour just to receive supplies. For an office that does not have triage and has patients with sleep issues...this should never happen. If the tech who handles supplies is overwhelmed, someone else should step in to assist. Other than that, very cordial staff.

Very nice, took me 30 minutes earlier than my appointment, explained my sleep apnea machine test results and then was AMAZING about explaining equipment replacement!
The provider that I saw was like a friend I could easily relate to. Conversation was good and all opinions were expressed. Office staff was right on top of their game. I barely sat down before I was called, and all of my needs were cared for and questions answered.
They were very great people and I probably would recommend them to somebody else. That's it.

It can be difficult to reach provider by phone.
Service was better than it was 2 yrs ago. However, I called 4 or 5 times trying different extensions before I got someone to answer the phone. I did get a call in the afternoon from one of the messages I had left in the morning. She made me an appointment for the next day.
A patient came and complained about never getting her calls returned. The front desk did what they could to take care of her. My past experience has been the office/nurse generally don't call back timely. Patients seemed to be packed in the waiting room. I was the 3rd person in line to check out from my appointment. That's not been my experience at other medical appointments.

I had to wait 25 minutes for the NP. I think that was too long. I can't be over. 15 minutes late for the appointment so I shouldn't have to wait for that NP.
Was told to return in 6 weeks but at check out was told it had to be 9 weeks because of no appointments. This office seems to have a large patient load and getting appointments is sometime hard.
I always feel like the way I feel matters.
The readings they got off of my card wasn't accurate because I use my sleep machine every night and yet I didn't have enough hours for the insurance.
Other than to get my CPap checked I don't even know why I was there.

So to start off with, when you call the office, regardless of whether you're looking for CPAP supplies or an appointment, no one ever seems to answer the phone. When you get there first thing in the morning, it's like herding cattle. They're just interested in getting people in and people out. My insurance pays for me to see a doctor, not a physician's assistant and not a nurse. And they never call you back. And then you get multiple notices for appointments at different times. And when I brought this up at the office, no one could provide a satisfying answer. So the woman that I did see, I felt rushed me through again, didn't answer my questions. They rely on certain questionnaire to determine how well you're sleeping. And they only take 30 days of data. So I use it every day.

I had to wait a while before I saw anyone, but everyone was very courteous. I did get to see Dedra Newton, and she was very thorough about my care, and I was very pleased about that. I had a few questions about my prescription after I got it, but it's probably because it's a new prescription, and the insurance might have said that I had to get it filled every 30 days, instead of a 90-day prescription. Other than that, I was very pleased. Thank you.

Yes, it would have been nice that the Sleep Foundation does not accept Aetna insurance prior to me walking in for my appointment. I believe that as a patient there, I should have been informed about that when the change happened and not having to walk in and pay $118 to be seen the day of. I should have been informed months prior to when the change happened with the Sleep Foundation merging in with Baton Rouge General.

The nurse that brought me from the waiting room to the back was not very friendly at all. I don't think she liked that I asked why it was taking so long for me to be called back when I had a 3:30 appt, I was there by 3:15-3:20 & the office filled up twice & was called back before I went back. I was the last patient called close to 4 pm. Once in the room, the nurse was very short with me & asked questions very quickly like she couldn't wait to leave the room. I've never been treated like that before with this company. My dr, nurse practitioner & front office staff are all awesome & very helpful, just the nurse that called me back has no bedside manners at all.

Hit or miss if phone is answered. Leave message and calls have not been returned. There is no follow up from the provider and no reminders about ordering equipment.
Everybody does well when I'm there, but to reach some Dedra or anybody, even at the front desk to make change in an appointment, I never can get anyone. Once I get that one girl, I leave word, nobody ever calls back. I'm through.

My last visit was not the best. The NP came in a gave me a review of my usage. Even changed the settings on my machine. Then when the nurse came in at the end of my Visit she said the card was actually full and they didn't have enough information so that my insurance would pay for the supplies I needed. That I could pay out of pocket or wait 6 weeks and come back when they had enough data and get them then. How the wasn't caught before the NP came in is beyond me. I just left because I was pretty upset and not sure I could have had a conversation without losing my cool.

It's my opinion that it's rather silly to make somebody come in for an unnecessary office visit when you didn't even read the card in my machine basically so that I could get a prescription refill. So what that amounts to in real terms, is I had to pay $35 to get a prescription filled. That just doesn't seem right to me. If you're going to have me come into the office, let's make it meaningful and not waste my time and money. Thank you.

I'm so glad that I have this provider, I have started on cpap therapy and it has made all the difference! The staff are very helpful and nice, I learned that teeth grinding at night could be a sign of sleep apnea, so I told my daughter, hopefully she'll have a sleep study.
I was happy with my experience
I was in need of medical clearance for surgery. I left three voicemails (over 4-5 days) on the nurse line for a call back, to find out how I should proceed. I finally gave up and scheduled an appointment. The nurse called back the afternoon before my appointment, I no longer needed her assistance. When I came for my appointment, the front desk assistant seemed irritated by me and the older gentleman ahead of me. Maybe she had had a bad morning. The girl who walked me to the exam room and reviewed my history with me was sweet, but I have no idea who she is because she never told me her name or who she was. I've met with a different person each time I've had an appointment at this office over the years, so I truly don't know who's who. Apologies for the poor review.
Okay, my complaint is the provider that saw me was very friendly and nice. However, when she asked me, what pharmacy do I use? I told her the pharmacy that I use and when after the appointment an hour or two later A different Pharmacy sent me a message saying we have your prescription. It was one that I used when my regular Pharmacy had a shortage, and I couldn't find it. So I use that went as a temporary one, and somehow in the system so they say, with Baton Rouge General, they both brought you all out or whatever somewhere in computer system, that is now my default Pharmacy. And I only used it one time because there was a shortage, so even though I told her Hershey yes no one cared whether it was her or a computer glitch.
