I love the warm welcome when I enter into her office and I talk to the front, the receptionist. Also, when going towards the back, I know that the nurse understands me when I say something funny. I love my Doctor, Most Doctors these days doesn't listen or take time with you. Not only Does Dr Valentine done this had it not been for her I'm sure I wouldn't be here. She saw that my heart rate was very low so out of concern she sent me straight to my Heart Doctor calling to make sure I was on my way there and that I tell him about my Dizzy spells. She called his office ahead and they where waiting on me they took me right back long story short I was in AFIB and had to have a procedure done had Dr Valentine not done anything I'm certain I would not be alive now. I'm so very grateful she always goes above and beyond and is the best Doctor I have ever had. I have had High Blood Pressure issues since my early 30's she's been the only Doctor to get it under control, I can go on and on she is the absolutely best

Desi Valentine has been my primary care doctor for a while now. At my last visit, I was hurting so bad and she noticed that, ask me questions as to what was going on. She immediately put me in a wheelchair and they rushed me off to the emergency room where I was admitted in the hospital.

This is my question right here, or you know I was in pain when I came to see the doctor and I'm still in pain. So I went and had a test and I might have to wait almost a month before I see her again. So I need to know what's going on with my body because I'm very short winded and I'm hurting especially in my chest.
Love Desi-she cares. My problem is with BRGen. It takes at least 3 weeks to get an appointment. And, of course, now that she is teaching, it's going to be harder to see her. But she has always answered her email the same day. May not be able to now that she has moved. And Mid-City is not as convenient as Picardy.

Dr. Valentine, has always been a great doctor. I've been seeing Dr. Valentine before nursing school all through nursing school and she's been wonderful. Dr Valentine called me the next day with my lab results. She is the first doctor I have ever had who called herself and did not have a nurse relay my lab results to me. Dr Valentine took time to explain what the numbers on my lab result meant. She also looked at my past numbers and talked me about them over the phone.

Dr. Desi Valentine is very professional and tend to her patients illness and check and recommend other care that she find is needed, she tells you what she wants you to do for your health and well care. She listen and evaluate your medical concern immediately and get you referrals sent out. She does not wait when you leave she have a plan for your health concern. I would not see another doctor unless based on her recommendation. She is a very very good doctor.

The receptionist/waiting room staff and security guard were very loud and rambunctious. They were not very friendly and I had to wait for them to finish a conversation amongst themselves before they asked if I needed anything. Very unprofessional. Dr. Valentine and nurses were great though. Waiting room staff should take classes on customer service etiquette.
