About Me
Dr. Hartman Brunt is a Louisiana native and a board-certified internist with subspecialty board certification in Clinical Informatics. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 2018, holds a Bachelor of Science from LSU, a Master of Science in Healthcare Management from the University of New Orleans, and a Master of Science in Health Informatics from Northwestern University in Illinois.
Dr. Brunt serves as Medical Director of Research at Baton Rouge General and participates in ongoing clinical trials through the Crohn’s & Colitis Clinic. He functions as an inflammatory bowel disease–focused primary care physician, providing longitudinal care for patients with complex IBD alongside subspecialty teams. Additionally, he is involved in health system optimization and electronic health record governance, serving as a Physician Builder for the Epic electronic medical record at Baton Rouge General.
