I always have a great experience with Dr. Huckaby. She is understanding, she's kind, she's patient. All the doctors and nurses at Livingston Parish, that place, they are all just absolutely amazing. I don't know all their names, but that's not because they don't introduce themselves to me. It's because I don't remember. But every last person at that place makes me feel welcome and not judged and just, it's just amazing. I always have a great experience. And I get a lot of, I get real nervous going to a doctor's office. But there, I never get nervous because I don't have to because they're always just super, just good. They're good. Thank you. It took me months to find a provider that would actually listen to my daughter and get her in. I feel like we are on the road to the right place for her. We love Dr. Huckaby,she listened and this is the first time we have felt like we were helped in months and dealing with mental illness there's no time to waste.
I see Heather for my mental health. The fact that I called to make an emergency appointment and was told I had to wait a MONTH is disgusting. I asked the receptionist what am I suppose to do, I really need to see her. My options were an appt a month out, get on a waiting list or go to the hospital. That's how regular patients are treated? Someone needs to do better with the schedules, there should be emergency times available. Waiting a month is ridiculous.
Heather is knowledgeable and great with my child's needs. She is thorough and kind. I would recommend her for anyone in need of her services. She is great at assessing the needs of her patients.

The staff at the Livingston location are always courteous and friendly. I have been seeing Heather a little over two years. She is always upbeat which helps even on my bad days. She listens to everything and remembers everything so you are never repeating yourself. I have come a long way thanks to Heather. She has helped me to learn how to manage my Bipolar and anxiety through different tools and exercises I use daily. She is relatable!
