This was first appointment with this Dr. Supposed to discuss and set up surgery. I saw P. A. and Nurse. They were helpful and knowledgeable, but I was disappointed the Dr didn't even stick his head in door to at least meet me before he starts cutting into me. Now I'm wondering if I should even bother having him as my surgeon

And he was able to diagnose and predict and give us not only medical answers, but also possible ways to alter her diet and exercise that could benefit and extend her life. He was an amazing doctor. I made the appointment a long time ago to be seen by Dr Griffin on a certain day, the day that he comes in and I ended up having to see the nurse practitioner and I was not too happy about that.

When making an appointment, guidance and directions to the site need to be given to the patient or family. My appointment was changed and we misunderstood about the location and went to whereI am currently receiving therapy for lymphedema and 3 other places before we found the correct location. We were on time for first appointment but at wrong place; so we got an employee to call the Dr. to let him know we were on our way, so it all worked out! Enjoyed meeting Dr. Griffin!

I witnessed the front desk deal with a confrontational patient. Apparently the patient had family with her that were having a phone conversation with the phone on speaker. The patient was loud yelling ugly at the front desk clerk. The clerk was extremely professional in handling the patient. Explaining that there is an office on the other side of wall, the patient continued with the ugly words. Through the whole time the the clerk reminded nice and extremely professional. The patient walked off still fussing. Myself and another patient made sure we complimented the staff for the way the situation was handled.

There was no point of my visit and it was a waste of time. They took my blood pressure and that was it.
I brought in some test results for Dr. Griffin to see, and one of them, the nurse says, I don't need that. And basically, after I read it, it was in an envelope, so I hadn't read it, but once I read the results, it was definitely something that Dr. Griffin should have seen. So now I'm going to have to make sure next time I see him, I give him that test result so he can see, or the CT scan that he's going to run will show what that X-ray result showed. But I just think that the nurse shouldn't have easily just said, I don't need that, without reading it first. So, but that's it.
We would not want to go anywhere else, for our medical treatment !

Did not see my doctor. Was seen by PA and was not told I was not to be seen by doctor before visit. Was not pleased with this. If I have an appointment with my doctor I expect to see my doctor.

Dr. Griffin is great and I would love to keep seeing him. He is thorough and very compassionate. But I have Aetna insurance and was self pay for this visit. That's how much I like Dr. Griffin. But I can't afford to self pay for every visit and may need a referral if Aetna is not accepted for my next office visit. Please consider accepting Aetna again!!!
