I've always had my GYN checkups at Woman's Hospital but came here because my usual doctor was no longer covered by my insurance! Not knowing just what to expect here, I was extremely pleased with everyone that I encountered and with how quickly my appointment went! It was a very good experience!!

I was nervous seeing this new nurse practitioner for the first time since my previous one left. My nerves immediately eased when she entered the room. Bedside manner was impeccable. I get safe and unjudged. My pap spear was gentle and I was distracted with easy conversation which took my mind off what was happening. I'd say this was the top well woman exam I've had ever. ? After years of infertility treatment, it's always mildly traumatic and triggering to go into an obgyn office.... Furthermore, when you get the call that your practitioner has left the practice and that you're being scheduled with someone new that can understandably be nerve wracking so I went into this appointment already on guard. I give an A+ score for this visit, it couldn't have gone better. Thank you BRGeneral.
Best experience I've had with an OB in years! I was in and out in under an hour but still had more than enough time with the provider to voice all of my concerns. Every member of the staff that I interacted with was awesome! 10/10!
Clean, calm atmosphere with friendly staff.
The health care provider I met with was wonderful. I was confused by something in the appointment with the nurses. The nurse who started the appointment was friendly and very kind. She took my blood pressure, and she told me it was (138/80). When the health care provider looked at the blood pressure reading entered in the computer, a higher reading was entered than what the nurse told me (140/80). My health care provider said she was concerned about this higher number, but I was confused because it isn't the reading that the nurse told me it was. My health care provider had my blood pressure taken again by a different nurse at the end of the appointment. This second nurse had a gruff bedside manner, and I felt anxious about what was happening. This reading went up, and my birth control prescription was changed as a result of this.
From scheduling my appointment with Tierra to my appointment with Nurse Practitioner Khaki was absolutely amazing .

Fnp Hazzlerigg was a breath of fresh air when it comes to being professional, caring, understanding, listening, and addressing all of my concerns. I haven't had a provider really listen and address my concerns in years! Not even my primary care doctor. She was absolutely amazing and I would recommend her services to others.
Khaki should have golden statute made of her. She's a real gem. BR GENERAL.. take note, pay for her to go to school and have her become a doctor.

I came to my appointment early to get my mammogram. I arrived at 7:20am and when I entered the lab I saw the woman who takes your information was on her personal phone. She motioned for me to have a seat and she would be with me in a moment. After I sat I realized she was on her personal phone and it sounded as if she was ordering a new iPhone. She was on speakerphone and I noticed she turned down the volume. At 7:30, 10 min after I arrived, she finally called me over to enter my information. I let the nurse who was doing my monogram know that I was extremely frustrated that I was not greeted at all as was dismissed and ignored so that the front desk clerk could finish her personal conversation. I was very disappointed. In contrast, The nurse who performed my mammogram was very thoughtful, sorry I had a frustrating experience, and was very kind during the screening.

I love everything about y'all's office when I get there, but trying to find someone on the phone at your office is really difficult. I go through all these different, press this number, press that number, trying to make an appointment. I never can get a person on the phone, and I didn't this year. So I did finally make my appointment online, but it bothers me that I can't get someone on the phone at my doctor's office. So I would never leave your office because of your providers. They're fabulous. Your nurses are wonderful, but it concerns me that I can't get a live person on the phone at a doctor's office, especially at my OBGYN's office, because I'm a female and I might need some help. And whether that's financial or the front desk or whatever, I just like to talk to a person. And I'm older, so maybe that's just me, but that's my feedback.
Excellent health care
I was concerned about pain in my breast area and reached out to the office via MyChart. The response was so fast, and they were able to fit me in a few days later. Everyone was so kind and so professional. I truly felt seen and heard, and the appropriate mammogram was done that same day so that my peace of mind was restored. I truly appreciate Khaki and the rest of the staff and can't say enough positive comments about the care I received.

It was my first time visiting this facility everyone I encountered was so nice I got lost in the building without even asking for help it was offered to me. The front desk staff at the Obgyn was so polite, the nurse was superb and Dr Khaki was delightful I enjoyed our interaction it was great I truly enjoyed my visit and I left feeling more knowledgeable.
My only problem was the wait time. Front desk personnel forgot to check me in as arrived and I waited way too long. The nurse and provider was very apologetic about the mishap.

This provider is always a pleasure to see. I have consistently had great experiences with her. My only comment has to do with the terrible condition of the hospital gown I was given. It had holes in it! This is unacceptable for such a large and prominent clinic, and does not inspire confidence in the overall maintenance of your facilities and equipment. Your patients deserve better.

It felt very rude. However, I still plan to continue care with Baton Rouge General.

I received a call from the nurse after my visit, and I kept trying to return the call to reach her, and I could never get her. And we kept missing each other's calls, so I never got a response or an answer to what my test results were. I'll keep trying.
