Visiting this office was a great experience. It felt like I was really talking to family members, honestly, about my concerns and more. I'll definitely be back as far as the remainder of my pregnancy. But thank you guys.

My partner and I had the best experience. This appointment was one of great apprehension but all fears and anxiety were relieved at the end of the visit. We were treated with kindness, compassion and understanding. Being a Black American I sometimes feel I won't be treated with dignity and receive quality health care but my visit was excellent. Dr. Fontenot and his team were the best. The ultrasound tech was an incredible presence during the visit. She locked into who I was and the challenges I faced with my previous experience and ensured that I received great care and answered all questions and addressed each concern.
The nurses and doctor were very sweet , I would love to see them again .
The front desk people are very polite and lively. Both the doctors I see take time to understand my concerns and try answer all my questions which assures me I am in good hands
The doctor was nice & informative . He made sure I understood what was going on with my baby . He was respectful & asked questions & always asked if I had any. He also knows how to make people feel present he didn't just talk to me or just ask me questions he also cracked jokes & asked questions to my partner & I think that's important too so he would feel included in the visit. Everyone was wonderful both ladies at the desks the very lady in the front area where I had to fill out papers & then again the lady I scheduled my appointment with at the end were so helpful & nice . I enjoyed my experience .

My experience at Dr. Fontenot office was amazing. I went in terrified. I was nervous about what to expect. From the minute. I came through the doors at the front desk all the way to the end of my time spent with Dr. Fontenot. I was so amazed at how attentive and comforting the staff was. I would like to recognize ultrasound tech who's who really explain things to me and reassured me and such a beautiful way and I would like to thank Dr. Fontenot for spending so much time with me. It was as if I was the only patient there.

Everyone in the office, from the front desk, to the nurses to the techs were amazing, they answered all questions, they knew who I was when I came in, it was in a timely fashion. They were very polite, they were very caring, it felt like family and I loved it.

The nurses and the ultrasound technician, were excellent and they made me feel extremely comfortable, the doctor, I am a very educated person and I had a really hard time understanding kind of translating his more academic approach to what that meant for my personal care. And I was so happy that my husband was there because without him it would have been really difficult to sort out. So I just wish he had explained to me in sort of regular people terms. You know, what all of this meant for me and my pregnancy so that I can leave there feeling. Like, I really knew what was going on instead of still feeling, like I was in the dark.

As a referral and a patient in a situation that required more attention than a routine visit to my usual OBGYN, I was disappointed not to be able to bring my husband with me. I do understand the health concerns, but I wonder why this office's policy is different than other offices in the hospital.

Even though our visit didn't go in the direction we would've hoped, Dr. Fontenot was exceptional in understanding my questions and feelings and even in explaining what was going on. My ultrasound tech was amazing and guided me throughout the process especially since visitors weren't allowed during the appointment. Under the circumstances, I cannot remember her name but I hope she sees this and know that she is appreciated. The front desk lady was pleasing and very sweet on and off the phone. He and his staff are amazing and thorough. They make you comfortable and aware of whatever situation you're going through with respect. I thank them for that.

I am very thankful for the nurses and the dr's I have as they have given me the best advice as to what to do moving forward to help better my child's situation. They make me feel very comfortable talking to them and even provided me with places for counseling due to a situation I am in. That meant a lot. I'm so very thankful for the staff at BRGM and couldn't thank god more for them!
Dr. Fontenot always takes the time to explain details of your pregnancy to you and makes sure that you truly understand without rushing. He answers any question with knowledge and patience.

Best experience I've had with a physician during this pregnancy. Doctor explained things so throughly to me, answered all questions, and the nurses took time to validate my feelings regarding my complications. Wish I was referred to this practice prior to 28 weeks and 5 days, but it's a blessing I was referred when I was. I'm confident the doctor and his team will help me get to the finish line with my sweet baby girl.

The last time I had an appointment with Dr. Fontenot was over 5 years ago. I was so relieved that before my appointment he went back and reviewed the case. We picked up exactly where we left off 5 years ago! It gives so much peace of mind when a doctor does not ask you to relive your entire complicated medical history and you are able to trust that he really "knows" you. I trusted my life to Baton Rouge General and Dr. Fontenot 5 years ago and there is no other hospital or MFM physician I would want to go to! Thank you!
