I love Baton Rouge General because I've never had problems with any physician, any nurse, and it's always done in a timely manner.
They were all excellent. Doctor's "bedside manner" / communication skills were amazing and the staff were all friendly and helpful. And they saw me on short notice / emergency when they didn't have to. Went out of their way to help me in my time of need and can't be happier.

So my doctor was pretty awesome. He listened to me and when he was not 100% sure how to do something, he reached out to his superior and got the, you know, codes or whatever he needed for the insurance and all that. So it was perfect. It was great. I appreciate him. Also, one thing I would say that I really didn't appreciate is my, anytime I have an appointment, I am expected to be there early, but our care, like they decide whether or not they want to postpone or change our date or even location where we are to show up. So it makes it kind of hard for someone that's working to plan, you know, how long to be away from us.

I felt reassured about my personal situation after meeting and talking with this provider. He listened to all of my concerns and left me feeling reassured that I had met the right doctor to address my issues.
The provider inspected the issue and left the room promptly without providing any feedback. After ~45 minutes, the nurse returned to advise "everything is fine, you're good to go". All subsequent questions were deflected with "everything is fine, you're good to go".
I feel content for your attention and I know that the doctors who treated me are going to help me because I need help.
It's difficult to be personable when one sees so many patients in a day. Some patients are seen on a quarterly, semiannually or yearly basis. Dr. Daugherty and his staff make me feel as though they remembered me as though they had just seen me the day before my visit. I appreciate that and need that in light of the reason for the visit to begin with. I prefer this provider to my previous one.

Dr. Daugherty and his nurse/office manager Val make an office visit an encounter which is the best that a medical visit can be. My experience is always one of feeling that I'm being cared for and heard. I would not have picked what caused our paths to cross, however I would pick them again if the need ever arises.
I was asked to be there for 9 o'clock for a 10 o'clock appointment did not bring me to medication I needed to take until 930 had to take a second dose at 10 o'clock and then wait to have my CAT scan done just found that was a little to be waiting.
The complete staffing as a whole is so nice and goes above and beyond. I learned more about my disease in the first visit than I had in 3 years.
Dr.Daugherty is wonderful. He listens to what you have to say with no judgment. He immediately got me in touch with the 2 other surgeons, along with himself who coordinated and did my surgery together. I will always be grateful for his medical care.

He didn't want to do surgery because it wasn't necessary and that was my greatest achievement, He's going to recheck me in about 6 months and I thank him with all my heart because I think some doctors just want to make money.
