When I went, the nurse showed me into an older waiting room with a very short step to get up onto the examining table. I explained to her that I couldn't use that, and she put me then into the room with a bigger step up. So she was listening. I recommended that my husband go to Dr. Robert Wood. I found him to be an excellent physician. And I get much better feedback than most of my friends report.

We have always had excellent service with Dr. Wood's staff and with Dr. Wood. His staff will go out of their way to help you with anything you need help with. What I like most about Dr. Wood is that he actually really listens to what you have to say and does not hurry you in and out of his office. He makes sure that he has answered all of your questions about your health and he is very professional & very personable. I highly recommend Dr. Wood.

Doctor visits are not always pleasant but everyone at the clinic makes you feel more relaxed and comfortable. The clinic is always clean and the staff is always professional but friendly.

I had a 9:30am appointment, arrived at 9:15am to check in, I was not called to the back till 10:00am. When I made this appointment we agreed on the 9:30am time, if the provider can't see me with in 15-20 minutes of the agreed time the appointment should not have been made for that time. My time is just as valuable as anyone else's time. When I was called back I was getting up to cancel the appointment and leave the premises.
I am not one to recommend doctor,dentist or cpa to anyone. Dr wood has been my dr since dr st amant retired. I plan to always stay his patient.
I love Dr. Robert Wood!!! He has always took his time and made sure I was caught up with labwork. Also I loss 20lbs taking his advice. He is the best!!!

My experience with this visit was pleasant. It was pretty quick. I did have a little wait to see the doctor, but it wasn't really too bad. And I've been a patient of Dr. Wood's for a long time, and he's always taken very good care of me.

He always takes time to answer my questions. i get emails about checking in online, which I would do if it didn't require me to scan my ID and medical insurance cards. You already have those and I'm just not going to go to the trouble of scanning them again.

The new MY CHART is taking some time for the staff, but they'll get it. All my other doctors belong to MY CHART. I am glad for the change. They missed one of my medications, fenofibrate. I am still on it.
In addition to Dr. Robert Wood and his staff being wonderful, I also had lab work done. The wait was minimal, and the tech was extremely good. The stick was almost painless, and there was barely a mark and absolutely no bruising. Please do work on the system used to schedule appointments. The automated system is loud and the wait time is ridiculous. It was the only part of my recent experience that was not pleasant and professional. Once I was able to speak to a person, the scheduling process went very smoothly.

The front office charged me $25 for a visit that should have been 0. After I told her I didn't have a copay she told me it it still $25 to see the doctor even though I pay hundreds of dollars every month to be insured by blue cross blue shield Louisiana.

I understand that physicians are sometimes running behind schedule, because they have to take care of the immediate needs of their patient. But when I physician walks in a room 45 minutes late, I would expect him to at least apologize for being late. And when I come back to pick up medication that they called me, to come and pick up, and it's not ready. It's frustrating and I did that twice and the medication wasn't ready and there's been coming back up third time, which I am not going to do. Terrible Customer Service.

I'm glad I have private insurance because my (now deceased) precious sister had medicaid and the treatment of her and the service provided was horrible! But I was her pitbull and fought for her like hell and demanded proper treatment and respect. You can teach skill all you want but you can't teach compassion. These nurses had compassion??
