I had my first glucose/insulin test today. Everyone time from the greeter & just walking past employees was kind, polite, & helpful. The admission desk ladies were very friendly & helpful. I feel terrible for not getting the nurses name who did my lab test today but she receives an 11 out of 10 stars. She has such a sweet personality & she's very good at what she does. She kept everything on time to a T. Addresses me by my name each time. With a smile. You can tell she loves what she does & that she loves working with people. Working in the medical field myself, I made sure to tell her all of that before I left because people love to criticize but rarely praised & it was more than well deserved by her.
I had a very good experience, very informative and knowledgeable. Very good personality.

I love Savanna. The only complaint I have, and this isn't Savanna, this is my first time seeing her. Since BRG took over, I have had to chase down my regular prescriptions. My last two or three visits, my meds were not sent in to my mail order pharmacy. I highly doubt the doctor calls them in so it must be a staff thing. My prescriptions WERE on my record as ordered however I always have to call to get them sent in, this last visit I called twice. Other than that. I am very satisified. Savanna is great!

I came in after being hospitalized for an intracranial bleed and nasal fracture which required a short ICU stay at BRG. The office staff entered my visit as a BP check. Dr Savanna, pulled up my scans, labs and records and did a thorough post hospital exam- with an excellent neuro exam. She also shared her plan of care. As a recently retired APRN, she is one of the best.
The staff was friendly, the wait time was minimal and the nurse and doctors explained things in easy to understand language. They also listened to my concerns and really care about my health.
It is always excellent service, timely and respectfully. The medical care is expert and carefully thought out.

It was a very good experience with Savanna Burns. very congenial and professional. The following comment is directed at Baton Rouge General and our insurance provider AETNA. We are disappointed that these two entities are not "playing nice". This may force us to change either our provider or our insurer, neither of which we want to do.
