Host a Behind-the-Scenes Hospital Tour

See the impact of philanthropy firsthand with a guided tour of Baton Rouge General. Tour participants enjoy an inside look at key clinical areas, including the Emergency Department, Regional Burn Center, Cancer Center and Cardiac Catheterization La, while hearing from caregivers and patients whose lives have been transformed through donor support. Tours are available for groups of up to 10 guests and can be scheduled with the Foundation team at foundation@brgeneral.org .

Become a Foundation Ambassador

Donate Blood, Save Lives

One blood donation can make a life-saving difference. Baton Rouge General partners with LifeShare Blood Center, the sole provider of blood services for our hospitals. Blood donations are especially critical for patients treated at South Louisiana's only verified Burn Center, where many patients require significant blood support during their recovery. You can donate at a LifeShare donor center or even host a community blood drive through your workplace, church or organization. You can donate blood at LifeShare's office, located at 3849 North Boulevard, or request them to come to you. To schedule a blood drive with LifeShare for your work, church or other organization or to learn more about donating, please call (225) 383-7728.
