Dr. Lexi Champagne Joins Baton Rouge General - Ascension
BATON ROUGE, La. – Dr. Lexi Champagne, a family medicine physician and Ascension Parish native, recently joined Baton Rouge General, where she will care for patients at the primary care clinic located in its neighborhood hospital in Prairieville.
A Dutchtown High School graduate, Dr. Champagne earned her medical degree and masters of public health from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed her residency in family medicine at BRG’s Family Medicine Residency Program. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
BRG’s primary care clinic moved to its current location in the BRG – Ascension neighborhood hospital in November 2020, though BRG’s presence in Ascension Parish dates back to 1995 when the clinic first opened in Oak Grove.
