Katie Fetzer, PhD, LPC-S

Dr. Katie Fetzer is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and is the co-founder of The Wellness Studio, LLC. Dr. Fetzer is trained to both diagnose and treat mental health disorders. She is a former assistant professor and current adjunct professor at the University of the Cumberlands where she teaches master's level coursework, and also a former adjunct professor for LSU and ULL.

Dr. Fetzer has 16 years of clinical practice experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, where she provided mental health counseling and crisis stabilization services to adults and adolescents experiencing acute mental health and/or substance use. She earned her bachelor’s and master's degrees from Louisiana State University, and her doctorate degree from the LSU-New Orleans. She has practiced in both psychiatric inpatient and outpatient settings. Her areas of clinical focus include general mental health concerns, physician burnout, spiritual identity development, anxiety and depression, and career issues and concerns.
