It was a great experience. We drove four hours for the appointment and everybody was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. When I called the next day about my prescription I got an answer within 30 minutes! Definitely the best facility within four hours?

Normally when I go to a urologist, the least thing they do is take a urine sample and check for blood instead of asking me if I observe any blood in the urine. Every urologist I've been to on an annual basis, they do a direct rectal exam, but Dr. Ross, I guess, doesn't do that. These are my comments. and observation. Thank you.

Elderly patients such as myself, have numerous doctors !! See the confused. Also, you state our medical findings are in our BR med charts. Did you consider some of us are computer illiterate ...bring back personal calls that would actually benefit old folks.

Even though the day started off confusing with me going to the wrong facility for my appointment, they still made time for me to be seen that day even though I was over an hour late.
This was my first time seeing him and I really liked him so I will go back to him
I want to say personally, I felt that all my needs were met, 10 out of 10 staff, they got me in very swiftly, even though I was a couple minutes behind, they checked me in very quickly and I appreciate that. It was efficient and they actually cared about the needs that I was going through.

I saw Dr Cockrell at BR Clinic previously. He is a great physician and is very knowledgeable about the ailments he treats. He has excellent chair side manner and I truly like him. So much, that I followed him from the last office. I feel that he genuinely cares about my health and I will continue to have him treat me.

The receptionist was extremely friendly and efficient. The nurse was attentive, respectful and appreciated my sense of humor. She was ready to talk to and very professional. Dr. Cockrell was personable and extremely knowledgeable. Offered his opinion and ordered MRI so that we could make a plan with all the available information. I had to call the imaging department to schedule my appointment and the 2 weeks before they could get me in seems kind of excessive.
I wish that I had listenes to his initial advice 6 months sooner he tried to tell me that the size of my tumor was so large and he had doubts that it would be removed by additional kemo/radiation treatments combined. I Did not listen and went ahead with those treatments which have caused me other problems.
Dr. Cockrell and his nurse are extremely friendly, courteous and compassionate. I was highly impressed by Dr. Cockrell's outgoing and bubbly personality. He made me feel extremely comfortable when discussing my treatment and addressed any questions or concerns I had. He has to be one of the most outgoing doctors I've ever met!

I have to wait forever when I call the nursing staff. And then I start off first in the queue, and then I end up in the third in the queue. How do you go backwards when you're waiting on hold? And then they didn't do anything I asked them to do. I asked them to set up my ability to donate blood, and they didn't do it at all. So I will not be using this provider again. His nursing staff is awful.

Dr Cockrell always has been very attentive to my needs and listened to my concerns. He insures that I understand his replys to any concerns that I may have.
It was not as bad as I had made up in my mind. It was pleasant.
Front desk and medical staff were excellent. The wait time was a bit excessive. I had a 2:50 appointment in which I got there 30+ minutes beforehand and wasn't seen until around 3:30pm.
Just slow down just a little bit- I realize I am Medicate and there is no money in Medicare but I am probably old enough to be your Mother-is that the way you treat your Mother??

The telephone service is the worst I have ever experienced. I was hung up on 4 times before I was finally connected to my doctor's nurse. The operator said she could help me. I told her that I didn't want to talk with an operator. She said that she was not an operator. I asked if she was a nurse. She answered no. Then she said she was not a nurse. I answered that then she was an operator. She was then very upset with me and I was disconnected. Finally on my 4th try I was connected to Dr. Cockrell's office. I told Dr. Cockrelll that he was going to loose patients or not gain new ones with that lack of service. He said that he'd received many complaints about the telephone system.

I was disappointed regarding my testosterone that I stated to Dr. Cockrell that I needed to get two injections in the office because I would be leaving and going out of the country and would not have enough of my testosterone. And I was told that they do not do testosterone injections in the office like they did before at their other location that they moved from, which was the Baton Rouge Clinic. So I will have to go without two weeks of my medicine when I go on my vacation out of the country, which is unfortunate. Thank you.
