Starting treatment can come with a lot of questions. Whether you’re considering residential care or our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), we’re here to help you better understand your options and what to expect at Baton Rouge Recovery Health.

Residential treatment provides 24/7 care in a structured, live-in environment where individuals can fully focus on recovery. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a flexible option for those who need ongoing support but can continue living at home and managing daily responsibilities like work or school.

IOP is ideal for individuals who have a stable home environment and do not require round-the-clock supervision, but still benefit from structured therapy and accountability. It’s also a common next step for those transitioning from residential treatment.

Both residential treatment and IOP include a combination of group therapy, individual counseling, and educational sessions. Patients also engage in self-reflection, skill-building, and recovery-focused activities to support long-term success.

Our residential campus is designed to feel safe, comfortable, and restorative. With peaceful outdoor spaces and home-like living areas, the environment helps reduce stress and allows individuals to focus fully on healing and recovery.

Our residential treatment program is structured as a 28-day experience, providing a focused and supportive environment for individuals committed to beginning their recovery journey.

Yes. The appropriate level of care depends on each individual’s needs. Our team works with patients to determine whether residential treatment or IOP is the best starting point based on their situation and goals.

Recovery is an ongoing journey. After completing a program, patients may continue care through step-down services, support groups, or other outpatient resources to maintain progress and prevent relapse.
