Dr. Bellanger has been my doctor for 13 years. He performed my surgery. He's been following me for aftercare. He helps me maintain my weight goals. We have a very good working relationship. He's following other health problems that I do. He sends me for tests if it's needed and he follows up with my primary care physician. I'm really sorry that Bellanger is not doing surgery anymore, but I recommend him to anyone who needs this kind of medical care. Bye.

He gave me a prescription that was $422 that I could not afford. That's the only thing. And then he has it called back with something else to take. That's all.

The entire staff were nice and helpful and very caring. I appreciate them using my time wisely and not making me wait. The doctor was very nice. He explained everything so that I could understand and I felt comfortable. I was not uncomfortable and I didn't feel like he was talking to me as if I was a physician. He talked to me as if I were a person that he cared. I appreciated that.

Everyone was super kind, patient, and my concerns were heard (as always). The nurse that saw me was training a new employee. She took the time to not only explain to me what she was doing, but her trainee as well. For a doctors office that handles such a sensitive/tough portion of healthcare, I have never felt judged, etc. Love them and recommend them to everyone!

I felt like he just wanted me in and out and it wasn't like other people were waiting. Also I was expecting him to know more about my past he didn't at all. He wasn't rude just more like I wasn't important. Food and my history is hard and he didn't hear it at all. I also have a huge fear of medicine in pill form because when I was a teen I was put on some that made me gain a ton of weight and he at all would of taken the time to hear me I would of told him this. Also the weight loss medication he gave me makes you not feel hungry and I already have that issue. So hope this helps some.

I like your facility. It is nice. I enjoy seeing the doctor. He listens and he's very caring. I've seen him for almost two years. And this is the third facility he's been at. I pay my $50 copay at the other two facilities. And when I came to your facility, it's my $50 copay. Plus, they bill me an extra $36 and some change because it's billed differently as an outpatient visit and not a regular doctor visit for a specialist. I don't appreciate that. I don't think that's fair. I think I should be able to pay my $50 copay and that should be enough. So thank you. Have a good day.

Dr. Drake Bellanger is the absolute BEST at what he does from a weight loss perspective but he also takes care of the entire patient . He makes sure you are healthy throughout and if there are needs that arise which require you to be seen by someone else or if you need further management he makes sure you have all of the information and resources you need to do that. I am so grateful for all he has done for me as a provider since 2017!

The staff never answers the phone or their messages. I cannot even leave voicemail.
He used to offer a B12 shot in office at his previous location & now you have to go through 4 steps he said to get. Get a script from him, take down to pharmacy, get filled, & bring back to his office to receive it, not helpful when have to be somewhere else after appointment.

Office staff needs some training on customer service & patient elations. In the few months I've been going there, I have not gotten timely return calls from the Rieske or staff when I need answers. Never, Never even got a return call on a voicemail mail that I left about what I thought was an urgent matter. Professionalism is lacking for sure.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bellanger's for over 15 years. He has treated me thru bariatric surgery and he now continues to not only treat, but mentor me through the many challenges of trying to keep control my weight this many years later. Whoever says that bariatric surgery is "the easy way out', has obviously never walked in the shoes of a person who has battled obesity. Each time I see Dr. Bellanger, he is kind, non-judgmental, and he listens to my (often complex) life situations that impact my weight struggles. Sometimes, we have stints of treatment that yield me promising results and other times, insurance bureaucracy seem to create barriers that can be incredibly frustrating. Despite all, Dr. Bellanger has helped with trying to be creative with his treatment plans, and he offers me hope - when he takes the time to talk with me about current trends in field of obesity treatment. Sorry for the long post. I just wanted you to understand how much the services offered by Dr. Bellanger are valued.

I love Dr Bellanger he's been there with me for over five years through my all my ups and downs. I think the ladies that work in his office are extremely sweet and I love his Nurse.
After visiting with my general doctor for several years trying to figure out what was wrong with me, she referred me to Dr. Bellanger. He was extremely thorough and found the root of my issues and helped me develop a plan moving forward. I feel 10 times better now than I did before I was seeing him and recommend him to all of my friends and family. He is fabulous.

Great experience except once the doctor was done, I was left in the room for well over 30 minutes, just for a nurse to hand me a piece of paper (diet). It angered me enough to question going back. Everything else in the process was great and quick.
