Join us for a Saturday morning with a twist -- get your annual mammogram and clinical breast exam and enjoy a mimosa during your screening. Mammos & Mimosas participants will also receive a swag bag with goodies from local companies and a certificate for a free brunch.
During your screening, a Baton Rouge General physician will perform your clinical breast exam and a mammography technologist at our Women’s Center will complete your mammogram. Following the event, a radiologist will read the results of your mammogram, and if something abnormal is found, a member of our Women’s Center will call you within 5 days to talk about the next steps. Otherwise, you will receive a letter within 30 days saying your results were normal.
This event is for women 40 or older who haven't had a mammogram within the last year. The cost for this event is just $20 and will not be filed with your insurance. Any follow-up care needed will be filed with your insurance.
