If you are a patient at Baton Rouge General, the team treating you will include hospital medicine professionals, or hospitalists, who are available at all times – even if your doctor or specialist can’t be at the hospital right then.
We work with Hospital Medicine Group's physicians, physician assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners to focus on your care while you’re here. You may see more than one hospitalist during your stay. Your hospital medicine team will be in contact with your primary physician or specialist to make sure your care is comprehensive and seamless.
