William Carey University at BRG Hosts Prospective Nursing Students

BATON ROUGE, La. – William Carey University at Baton Rouge General (BRG) will host a Preview Day Monday, Aug. 6 for prospective students in its nursing, health administration and education, and health information management programs.

The Preview Day will be held at BRG’s Mid City campus from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Suite 1010. Prospective students are encouraged to bring transcripts to be reviewed by faculty advisors. Faculty and staff will also be available to answer questions about the admissions process, review admission documents and provide tours.

BRG announced plans in February to affiliate with William Carey University, an agreement that will help to meet the growing needs of nurses in the Baton Rouge market. William Carey University at Baton Rouge General offers an 18-month curriculum to complete requirements for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), along with William Carey’s current online RN to BSN bridge program. The school will admit the first cohort of students this fall.
