Baton Rouge General Services Return to Business As Usual After Winter Weather

Baton Rouge, La. – Although icy roads limited some travel this morning, both campuses of Baton Rouge General (BRG) hospital remain open 24/7. As of Thursday, January 18, all services have returned to business as usual with the exception of a few delayed openings:

  • Hematology Oncology Clinic – Open at 11 a.m.
  • Behavioral Wellness Center – Open at 12 p.m.
  • BRGP Family Medicine – Denham Springs (Del Este Ave.) – Currently closed. Will open later today, time still TBD.

The safety of our patients, employees, physicians and visitors remains our top priority. We encourage all visitors to monitor weather and road conditions before traveling. Please visit for updates.
