Baton Rouge General Announces New Members of Board of Trustees

BATON ROUGE, La. - Today, Baton Rouge General (BRG) announced three new members of its Board of Trustees, each elected to serve a three-year term beginning January 1: Rick Bond, Brad Gaspard, MD, and Jason MacMorran.

Rick Bond, who is also the incoming chairman of BRG Foundation Board of Governors, will serve as an ex officio member. The Baton Rouge native is co-owner of Bond Construction Co., and also operates Clear Net Worth LLC and Clear Properties LLC. He has also served as vice president of the board of directors for the American Cancer Society in Baton Rouge.

Brad J. Gaspard, MD, graduated from LSU School of Medicine and completed his residency while serving as Chief Resident at the University of Alabama Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Gaspard is the Medical Director of Baton Rouge General Physicians and member of numerous medical societies, including the American Academy of Family Physicians and Christian Medical and Dental Association.

Jason MacMorran, CPA, is a director with Postlethwaite & Netterville’s Consulting Services Group and leads the firm’s Litigation Niche. He has actively served the accounting profession through his involvement with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA). In addition to his service to the AICPA in the valuation and forensic accounting areas, MacMorran has been an active member of the Louisiana Society of CPAs, serving on its board of directors and as its 2019-2020 chair, and serving on its Forensic and Valuation Services Committee since 2009, chairing that committee in 2013 and 2014. He is also on the board of various community organizations, including Baton Rouge Green, Baton Rouge High School Foundation, Louisiana Arts and Sciences Museum, St. George School Finance Committee, and Volunteers in Public Schools.
