Tony Johnson, II, MD

Bio

Dr. Tony Johnson earned his undergraduate degree from Wiley College in Marshall, Texas, a Master of Business Administration from Urbana University in Urbana, Ohio, and his medical degree from the American University of Antigua in Coolidge, Antigua. He completed his residency training at the University of Alabama Family Medicine Residency Program where he served as chief resident. He completed his sports medicine training at Baton Rouge General¹s Sports Medicine Fellowship Program.

Dr. Johnson promotes an active and healthy lifestyle through numerous athletic activities such as cycling and recreational basketball. He is a strong advocate for the medically underserved.

He is a member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Sports Medicine, and the American College of Physicians.
