Pelvic Health Rehab

Pelvic disorders can be uncomfortable and embarrassing, but it’s important to get a proper diagnosis as early as possible. Your pelvic floor consists of muscles, ligaments and bones that work together to support the pelvic organs. Tightness or laxity of these muscles can contribute to back and pelvic pain, incontinence, obstetrical problems and other conditions.

Factors that can lead to pelvic problems:

  • Abdominal and pelvic surgeries
  • Childbearing
  • Obesity
  • Constipation
  • Chronic respiratory problems
  • Activities that include lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying
