Admissions

To apply to Baton Rouge General's Pharmacy Residency Program, you must have graduated or be eligible for graduation from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program. You can submit your application and register for the Match through the portal on PhORCAS.org.

You must apply by January 6 to be considered for the Pharmacy Residency Program.

  • Academic Transcript (Pharmacy education only)

Visa Requirements

Residency applicants must be authorized for employment in the United States at the time they apply for the residency. Baton Rouge General Department of Pharmacy does not sponsor applicants for work Visas. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate OPT (Optional Practical Training) Visas. TN (Trade NAFTA) Visas are acceptable, however the candidate is responsible for the application process and all necessary fees.
