Admissions
How to Apply
In order to be considered for the RN-to-BSN program, you must first apply
for undergraduate admission to William Carey University. All applicants must:

Complete the
Application for Undergraduate Admissions
- Pay a $40 non-refundable application fee at the time of application
- Send proof of measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) immunizations (must have
had two MMR shots in your lifetime) - Instructions for sending will be
sent in your application email confirmation

Evidence of
Health Status Requirements will be required before program entry.
Once your application is submitted, you will receive an email notification
with your application status from
Admissions@wmcarey.edu.
Admission Requirements
The following admission requirements must be met in order to be admitted
into the RN-to-BSN program:
- Student must have graduated from a nationally accredited associate degree
or diploma program
- Student must have unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in all states
where licensed with no pending legal action
- Student must be in good standing at William Carey University
- Student must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 in prerequisite
courses and a grade of C or better is required in each course
Prerequisites
Candidates applying for admission are required to have completed specific
prerequisite college credit courses. Listed below are the prerequisite
courses and grade requirements.
The following courses are required prior to admission with a grade of C
or higher in each course. All can be taken prior to or with the nursing
curriculum, with the exception of PSY 351 - Psychological Statistics,
which must be taken prior to NRN 460 - Evidence Based Practice for RNs.
