Palliative medicine focuses on the care of patients and families who are affected by serious illness. Our palliative care team helps with the symptoms of life-limiting illness and the side effects of treatment during your ongoing care. Symptoms that may be improved by palliative care include:
- Anorexia
- Anxiety or nervousness
- Constipation
- Depression or sadness
