Baton Rouge General’s Public Safety Officers are dedicated to providing a safe environment for patients, visitors, employees and students. Our campuses are staffed and patrolled 24 hours a day for your protection.
Please take personal safety measures on and off BRG’s campuses, including these tips:
- Be aware of your surroundings.
- Report any facility concerns, such as lights that need to be replaced.
- Report suspicious people or activity on campus.
- Make sure a friend or family member is familiar with your routine and any upcoming changes.

Safety Statistics
Colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs are required by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) to maintain and disclose campus crime statistics and security information and to report statistics about related crimes.
Security for the Baton Rouge General School of Nursing and School of Radiologic Technology is the responsibility of the Baton Rouge General Medical Center Security team. Students attend classes at Mid City but are located at the Bluebonnet campus for clinicals. The complete 2019 Annual Security Report is available upon request.
