Program Outcomes
In July 2016, the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) began to require that accredited nursing programs make information publicly available to demonstrate the extent to which graduates are adequately prepared. In accordance with ACEN’s Policy #29 Advertising and Recruitment of Students, the Baton Rouge General School of Nursing will publish student achievement data regarding graduates’ success on the licensure examination (NCLEX-RN), students' completion of the nursing program and graduates obtaining a job. Student achievement data will be published annually for each graduating cohort. The Student Achievement Outcomes (SAO) will be available for public viewing throughout the year, will be updated annually, and will include a five-year reporting period.
